The scheme will be cashless & paperless at public hospitals and empanelled private hospitals, beneficiaries will not be required to pay any charges for the hospitalization expenses. The benefit also includes pre- and post- hospitalization expenses. Medical and hospitalization expenses for almost all secondary care and most of the tertiary care procedures a benefit cover of Rs. 500,000 per family per year (on a family floater basis).

A resident of Maharashtra. There will be no cap on family size and age All families listed in the SECC (Socio-economic and caste census) database as per defined criteria will be covered The government has made a list of 11 occupational categories of workers who are automatically included.

All documents need to be submitted directly to hospital.
Application form is not needed as hospital has its own prescribed format and procedure
